Monitor Mounts

Post by Nitrofox125 »

So just because I'm stricken with a severe case of MMS, I'm starting to get a row of monitors longer than I can reach. I want to do something where I can make a Matrixish-half-sphere thingy. I was thinking of building something out of PVC or wood - it would be cheap and I could customize it to fit my needs. But how to mount the stuff on there? We're talking 21" TV, 8" TV, flatscreens, CRT, so it's not a universally VESA compatible thing. Anybody had any experience? Alternately I could just stick arms going into the wall, but those floating arms sounds pretty darn expensive.

If you build it yourself, make sure you put a 2-3" bar of wood on the edge to stop the monitor from coming down.

But I think the store ones are better sicne they swivel.
