Macintosh questions

Couple of questions about running D3 on a Mac. I have bootable 9.2.2. on a Powerbook G4 300Mhz.

Is anyone running this successfully under Classic or only in native OS9?
I have some graphics glitches when I run under Classic.

Is there a way to use the function keys other than to press the "fn" button? I seem to remember doing something in a control panel before to get around this, but now I can't make it happen.

I think I run it in X, but it might be in classic. IIRC it's X.

You can set the function keys in the Keyboard Control Panel. I don't remember what it looks like, but it should be under one of the tabs.

I tried but could not run it under classic on a 333 G3 iBook. I did however run it under classic on a 433. The 333's video card was too slow.

You ask "running successfully", does that mean it doesn't run at all? What kind of error do you get? If it's like a -3 or -4, your graphics card doesn't support it.

It runs under classic, except that the tool bar thingee (Finder..File..Exit..etc) shows across the top of the screen and there is a big black rectangle overlying the center of the screen.

OK. Mac D3 SP and MP runs best in the real OS 9, not X's Classic mode. If you can boot into OS 9.2.2, terif!

Just a cpl of technical questions.

1.What vid card type do you have?
2What Screen res are you playing D3 w/? I play Mac D3 at 640x480.

I know the answer to that as well. Because your in OSX, I'm guessing that the black sqaure you see is a window on your desktop, and you prob clicked on your dock, desktop, or F9, (if your OSX has the window switching capabilities) While booting D3. that is Y you are getting the menu bar at the top of the screen. To lose that you must totally get outa D3. (Sorry, only way to fix by my experience
