Here's a screenshot of the overhead wireframe of the thing. Still growing; I've added one of the smaller dogfighting rooms, and am working on the tunnel network. I'll probably end up making it semi-symmetrical, with symmetrical shells and different eye candy to distinguish each room.
As for linux/mac compatibility, it should be perfectly compatible. The only thing that won't work on mac is the spews, because they require scripting. Other than that, it should work with all versions of D3.
