Video Problems

I am running Win XP with an Intel 82845G chip set. When in setup mode and select video i have two choices, Direct 3D or Open GL. In Direct 3D mode vedio is scrambled. In open GL mode, while in the game textures are sometimes scrambled. Other times message screens are scrambled. Any sugestions other than buying third party card?

If you are using onboard video, only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have the latest drivers for it and also the latest DirectX which is 9.0c
