Any Lacuna Coil fans here?
I was just listening to Tight Rope (off of the Comalies albumn), and at the 0:16 mark, and a couple other points in the song, you distinctly hear: "Self destruct sequence, activated" which sounds exactly like the audio cue from D1 & D2.
Am I just crazy, or do you think they pulled it from D1/D2?

Yeah, it's taken from the game. Pretty cool though.

You will find that many sounds from games are also used in movies and vice-versa. Nothing surprising here, just reused sound effects.

No, but a direct line from one of my favorite old games certainly brightens up my day though.

was talking about this in chat when this album came out6 months ago roughly. And lacuna coil ownes.
But they are right. I head doors opening and many other effects from the game used all over the place. I eventually gave up keeping track.

I noticed that a long time ago but really didn't feel it post worthy. I've heard a few things in Nightwish songs that are Descentish too.
Cool though.

Yeah, I noticed that again early last semester. I thought of posting it here, but forgot about it. I <3 Descent and Lacuna Coil though, so finding it was cool.

All of the sounds from GoldenEye, for example, are stock sound effects. And every so often I hear one of the Doom door-opening sounds. Hell I remember hearing it on some episode of Rugrats when I was really little.
