If the Iraqis are so weak that they would suffer under Saddam's yoke decade after decade without overthrowing him themselves, then they can stand a few decades of American "occupation".

We're a lot nicer, just look at the pansies in Europe and the defeated Japanese. We "occupied" Europe/Japan for over half a century and they are doing FAR better than other parts of the world we didn't "occupy".
