yeah, probably a prank... snow doesn't usually fall with black streaks in it, and it doesn't pack up against a doorway like that. Probably took a couple good whacks to knock down...

this is my back door nine days ago. The snow just drifted up against the house, and heat from the house probably partially melted it so it would pack better and hold its shape. Of course that's only a few feet deep; I can't testify that it could have held its shape if it covered the whole door. And there are no black streaks.
