I saw that a few days ago, and thought that though it probably could happen, that this was most likely a college prank or something.

funny as hell though :)

yeah, probably a prank... snow doesn't usually fall with black streaks in it, and it doesn't pack up against a doorway like that. Probably took a couple good whacks to knock down...

If I recall my history right, that actually happened in Minnesota in the 60s or something.

Ever hear of something called a "snow drift"?

Snow doesn't have to fall 10 feet deep for it to be 10 feet deep against a house.

They do have the right cure for the weathers sitting on the table next to the door.

After I read that I tabbed back looking for the scantly clad hot chick. Course if you drank enough of that perhaps you could convince yourself that your wife fits that discription... ;)

this is my back door nine days ago. The snow just drifted up against the house, and heat from the house probably partially melted it so it would pack better and hold its shape. Of course that's only a few feet deep; I can't testify that it could have held its shape if it covered the whole door. And there are no black streaks.

It's fake. Snow doesn't look like that in a snow drift. I worked on a ski area for ten years.

I think Mobius *might* have a point. It should have wind streaks if it's a snow drift.
