Did Paris Hilton doom a struggling airline?

I don't know why, but I find this hilarious!!

Would you knowingly take a flight if you knew Paris Hilton and her simpleton sidekick Nicole Richie were the flight attendants? Probably not, but one airline was hoping publicity from the bratty duo would be enough to give them some lift â?? but that's not that way it turned out.

In tonight's edition of Fox TV's The Simple Life: Interns, The St. Petersburg Times writes Hilton and Richie "spend a day as trash-talking flight attendants and squeamish ramp workers" at discount carrier Southeast Airlines. Many major airlines predictably balked, but Southeast figured the free publicity couldn't hurt. But, The Times writes, "previews showed Hilton and Richie doing an airport version of their clueless, spoiled princess act," and at least one woman complained Hilton called her an obscenity in front of her children. As for Southeast â?¦ the carrier unexpectedly shut down Nov. 30, ending operations and laying off 364 employees. Here's guessing most Americans wish Southeast Airlines and The Simple Life could swap fates. Posted at 7 a.m. ET

Nope, I haven't seen it and unless she's doing something supernatural in them I don't think she could get my interest.
Face it, if she wasn't rich she wouldn't be famous, she'd be backstage doing the roadies trying to earn a shot at the drummer or she'd be on the street as some pimps demo model....
