No human is perfect. And no saintly appearing celebrity is a true saint. This suprises you?

Well, most of us imperfect humans are still able keep from doing what they say he did.
I hope it isn't true and I'm glad my dad isn't alive to see this because he really admired Bill Cosby.

Great Job Merlin! (Y)

Yeah me too Will. :( I hope this is just BS designed to get some cash from Bill. I've seen him live twice, and both times he was the funniest man I've ever seen or heard. I know several of his monologues off-by-heart.

("Roland and the rollercoaster", "Cars" and "Marijuana/Cocaine" crack me up to this day!)
".. Now, dope smokers work harder than any other person to get high! First of all they must suck in (Sucking sound) and this brings about a conflict of interest within the body! The lungs, they don't want the smoke in there, so they're trying to push it out - but the brain - it wants to get high - so it says "KEEP IT IN!!" So to keep the smoke IN, all marijuana smokers make the same face. (Makes face.) THIS IS THE FACE OF A MAN HOLDING THE SMOKE IN!

NOW - the next SOUND that you hear, is the sound of the smoke coming OUT. (Make small PFFT sound). It's sneaking out through a hole made by the cocaine!

So, the next sound you hear is the sound of the marijuana smoker trying to get the smoke back! (Sound of small PFFT followed by two short sucking sounds)

Now - all marijuana smokers love to share - and so they must pass the joint. But the problem is, they're taping someone who's already ripped and they can't feel anything - so the smoker must talk - and he must talk quickly! So you hear the smoker say "GIDDLEUP".

Now, you get 9 people all on the same joint, and all them sounds together. (Make all the sounds repeatedly and overlappingly for about 5 seconds). MAN! You'd figure that after all that hard work, these people would do out and do something exciting! BUT NO! They just sit there and say "I could dig on some raw potatoes - do you have any?" (NO, ALL WE HAVE IS SOME LINOLEUM!) "What color is it?".

And all kinds of weird ★■◆● happens to smokers too man. Soem of 'em get paranoid! You go up and say something simple like "Hey - how you going?" - and they scream "WHAT? Don't do that man! I flashed on something when you said that! Don't scare me!"...
However, it wouldn't surprise me terribly if true. My Dad's colleague (and best friend!) of 35 years - who worked in the office one wall away from my Dad - and who was the deputy Mayor of my city, was accused and convicted of multiple sexual offenses over a 30 year period!

Supposed "respectability" is no guarantee of good behaviour - sadly.

I agree. Accusation != guilt. Plus, it's not for us to judge--it's the courts, if anyone.

A little groping here and there maybe, afterall we're talking about a black man :P. I really don't believe he tried to drug a woman and rape her. The sad thing is, if he had actually done something to the extent that he'd need to be held accountable by the law...he has the money to make it all go away.

So one has to put in a little bit more thought as to the potential outcome for the alleged victims then just saying it never happend. Just because you don't want to believe someone did something doesn't mean they didn't do it.

Great talent. If he didn't do it great. If he did...hes lowered himself to being a normal man who couldn't control his urges. It's just sad that he has spent half of his life convincing the rest of us otherwise. Sometimes reality is the greatest form of tragedy.

To those who think he is 'innocent' (not about whatever that link is) didn't know about him in his early years.

Cosby has landed himself in hot water on other fronts too. He's been critical of African-American life, saying bad parenting, not racism, is to blame for the woes of many black Americans.
Oh noes, not blaming "my people" for your being a violent drug dealer in the projects? I like this man, step up and own up, just because circumstances suck doesn't mean you can be a dickwad and teach your kids to be dickwads.

That being said, I will form no opinion on the accusations unless I sit down and read the evidence, which I am not inclined to do.

I've never really been urged to grope anyone.

Yes I like da females but I have never groped any girl in my life. Never felt an urge to grope her. Hold hands, kiss, normal relationship things, sure. :) Just being a guy doesn't entitle you to grope someone Tyranny.

I like how you slipped in "entitle" to make it seem that is what I meant. If you read my reply a little better you might understand that no where did I mention that "men are entitled to grope women simply because they are a man". A woman's body is her own property and no one should be touching them in personal places without their consent.

As men though we do have urges to do some very inappropriate things. You can't tell me you haven't thought about doing something to a good looking gal that you saw while you were out and about atleast once. If you haven't great, kinda weird, but great. A lot of us do though. The thing is, there are those of us that can keep those urges in check, and there are those of us that can't. If Cosby did do what the article is claiming then he is somebody who couldn't keep himself under control. Which is all I was saying.

This was a joke based on the stereotypical perception of black males treatment of women. It wasn't an excuse for what he did at all and isn't intented to be treated as such. Laugh a little, it might do you some good :P

BTW, thought I would toss this in too... not with a good looking gal that I was with. Sure I thought she was pretty but never thought of her in that sense. Sure I would probably begin to think of her in the sense if the relationship had become more serious than it was. Now with victoria secret commercials... that's another story ;)

As for real life though, never have and probably won't ever unless I find my soul mate. :) Just sort of a personal promise I made to myself and my parents that I intend to keep.

Had the misfortune of being groped a couple times though by a rather strange girl. :\
