Trolling, Flaming, Necroposting, and off-topic posting

Post by Lothar »

... will not be tolerated. I've seen way too much of it today. I'll be deleting a bunch of it this afternoon.

Responding to trolling / flaming / necroposting / off-topic replies just makes it harder for me to delete them. Please, don't feed the trolls.

Thank you.

I will be watching for this as well. Although I do take a hands-off approach in general, I concur with Lothar on this one.

UPDATE

I hate to have to say something this obvious, since almost everyone here knows better, but:

If you want to use an image in your post, please put it on your own webspace. If you're using an image from someone else's webspace without permission, that's stealing. Even if it's just a small image, don't steal it from others.

If you need help figuring out how to put images on your own webspace, please ask in the tech forum.

If you can't afford your own webspace, please get a job. [edit:] or use a free image-hosting service like http://imageshack.us/ (thanks to TheCops for pointing this out.)
