Running with the big dogs

Post by woodchip »

After years of small dog winning the top dog prize, we finally get a man sized best of show (you were expecting something "racey?):

Maintaining his composure as he was swarmed by fans, judges and reporters, the 155-pound Josh showed just why he had been named Best in Show, displacing the cuddlier Coco, a smallish Norfolk terrier which had been tipped to take the prize.

If I recall correctly, Josh weighs some 45 pounds more than his owner. That's kinda funny.

As much as I like animals....watching a dog show is about as interesting and exciting as watching grass grow.

There will come a time in your life, Ty, when watching your grass grow will be a big deal.

Dogs don't belong in shows. They belong chained up in the backyard.

Are you talking about the Bi-ped holding the leash or the Quadra-ped on the leash?

I hope you don't own dogs. Pretty pathetic to invite an animal into your life and chain it up exposed to the elements...
