Older men marrying teenage girls is an entirely different matter, IMO. But then you've deviated... He was clearly speaking in regard to young men getting married.

TC, if the idea is so appalling are you equally appalled at mothers taking their daughters to beauty pagents and having them wear sexually suggestive clothing? Are you appalled at birth control being offered to 12 year old girls? Are you appalled at music vids showing young girls being treated as sex objects? Are you appalled when someone like Ms Cyrus rubs a large finger in her crotch in front of a national audience? Are you appalled at all the single mothers trying to raise children? And yet you are appalled at a 15 year old getting married. You ever wonder why that 15 year old thinks marriage and sex is OK?

I swear some gun nuts have actually consummated physical relationships with their firearms. It's the only explanation.

She likes to shoot her gun, shootin' at the target of love
She likes to load her chamber hot and tight like a black leather glove
She's a little freak, but she'll take you in
You might be sittin' at the end of a firing pin

Gun love, gun love, gun love
She's a real gun lover
Gun love, gun love, gun love
She's a real gun lover tonight

She's so particular, she likes a Smith and Wesson or Colt
But she'll give you some lovin' as long as she's cockin' the bolt
Better hold on when she's up to her tricks
Playin' Russian Roulette but she'll load all six

Gun love, gun love, gun love
She's a real gun lover
Gun love, gun love, gun love
(Gun love, gun love)
She's a real gun lover tonight

She likes the punch deep down in her pistolero
Running with the wild bunch, makin' like a Robert Dinero
She's kinda shy but make no mistake
She'll shoot you full of love till your love bone aches

Gun love, gun love, gun love
She's a real gun lover
Gun love, gun love, gun love
(Gun love)
She's a real gun lover tonight
She's a real gun lover
She's a real gun lover tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight

Aww, angry conservative people and advertisers threatened to boycott a magazine because someone wrote something they didn't approve of. I guess they are learning from all the Liberals who do the same thing when they don't like someone.

I'm appalled at all those ideas. Our culture has been objectifying more and more young women as sexual entertainment and the media eats it them up and spits them out like so much disposable garbage. The parents have also become part of the problem by either allowing it, or encouraging it. It's not a good way to foster stable families. And maybe a 15 year old thinks sex and marriage is OK in her fantasy world that the media and music industry portray as such, until they actually have to go into that marriage for real and experience the hard facts of life. 15 year old girls do not have the mental capacity or maturity to care for a family at that age, period. Hell, I remember what it was like to be 15 and I sure wouldn't have wanted to get married OR have a kid at that age. I wouldn't have been a responsible mother, nor would I have been able to afford it either.

Twenty year old males aren't even mature, but the law does consider them to be adults. But a 15 year old is still considered a minor under the law, in most states. A few are still a little backward on the definition of a minor, but I can't tell them that. So in most states, would consummating the marriage be considered statutory rape in the eyes of the law? Has old Phil thought about that?

Har, har Slick. Clay Aiken joining the cast of Duck Dynasty would be tantamount to Sarah Palin having a starring role on Kathy Griffin's D-List Show. :P
