I beat it, but the MP is really lacking. The netcode seems to....suck. It has alot of possibilities still with DL content, but the default maps for MP could of been alot better. And it needs more game types. Still one of th ebest SP games I have played in a long time.

Yeah, seems like almost no one is playing multiplayer. It's not too surprising. Doom 3's multiplayer was never its strong suit (4 player deathmatch, who are they kidding?). Never tried Quake 4 MP.

Shame, because there are so many cool possibilities with this tech.

By the way, the book and the game arn't related at all. (I started the book last night- it's quite good.

Just had to say this after getting broadband, checking out the trailer.... playing the demo. Dumbest..... game.... ever.

It doesn't feel solid. It feels cramped and annoying. Quake 4 is a much better game. At least it is a little scary and somewhat interesting. Nothing to yell, woohoo about but the characters and weapons are interesting.

Only thing I like in Prey are those little bug bomb things you pick up. I like pulling off their legs and throwing them.

By the way, this game offers nothing more as far as anti-gravity goes than the Serious Sam games and they were actually a lot more fun to play. Not to mention, they were striving to be funny as apposed to a serious alien killing game.

I played through it as well. Really liked it and the fact that the player talks.
Why doesn't it work?

Like the world needs another overly pretentious alien killing game? We don't have enough of those? :P

By the way, you played the demo. You didn't get to fly the ship.

I really liked it, and will get the sequal when the next one comes out, but I will probably wait a few years for the price to drop.

Since I beat it I havn't loaded it up sence, so probably not worth full price. The MP had so much potential and was such a let down. CTF would of been wicked.
