The Hebrews weren't allowed by Mosaic law to hold a lsave for more than 70 years. They were also to treat them well. ...whether or not they did has little to do with what God commanded... which is what the Bible is about. The Isrealites seldom did what God wanted for large periods of time. .. gee.. sounds like another group of people we know.
