Tis total BS, windchill made today cold as hell (like 20 degrees w/ windchill) but we don't get snow. I seriously would love to pummel some people with snowballs.

Since I was born and raised about 60 miles from Bufffalo N.Y. I can honestly say - been there, done that. That's the main reason I moved to the "Sunshine State".

No kidding! Not as cold as our Northern bretheren are dealing with, but colder than I want to experience. It was in the mid 20's when I got up this morning. That's just not right.

60-80 depending on time of day and weather. Of course, the 22nd is the longest daylight hours so that's fairly normal.

The greater Milwaukee area's had worse. Temps have been somewhat mild, mostly in the mid/upper 20s F with plenty of snow since Thanksgiving weekend. It snowed dawn till dusk last Saturday. Almost a foot's worth remained on my lawn before it started getting back into the mid/upper 30s, which will peak tomorrow before dipping back into the teens Sunday, with a little more snow on the way.
Also, I've really got to insulate my attic...
...cause this is all I have. I'm getting tired of my 907 sq. ft. house handing me $200/mo. energy bills this time of year.
A Merry Christmas to all!

Insulate and get one of dem big round gas heaters. I grew up with those and I'm more comfortable with 'em than a gas fireplace
I had some good memories of that. In the a.m. on cold and usually snowy mornings, my siblings and I would wake up and the first thing we did was to gather 'round the heater and stick our hands close to it and silently warm up. I think that was also often there cuz we grew up poor and couldn't afford to have such high electricity bills.
Dad would still have that in the middle of the house after we come inside from playing in the snow and just throw our soaked hats and gloves on the railings protecting the heater itself so it'd warm up and dry sooner after we finish taking a break.
It probably wasn't one of the safest heaters cuz it burns on gas and there were 4 of us kids and the railings tend to get really hot. However, I don't recall witnessing any accident from that thing.
It was also great for when we lost power from snowstorms and that great blizzard in 1993.
Really, when I find out what kind of heater it was, I'll tell ya. From my experiences, I'd strongly recommend it for comfortable heating and lower electricity costs.

It's been snowing out here in Brigham City, Utah. It's really quite pleasant.
Hope the weather is nice in Denver.

We already have 2 feet of snow (90% of that arrived on Christmas Eve) and it's snowing nearly every day now...

Techpro, same thing is happening here. It snows for 2 days, then stops for 1, snows for 1, stops for 2, snows for 2 etc etc.
This is the most amount of snow I've seen since about 1977.

We just got a good 6\" today. I had the day off, so while eating lunch I got to just look out my window and watch the flakes fall. Everything's all pretty and white, and \"Tractor Joe\" saved me and other neighbors from moving it off our sidewalks. More pics next week once I get my camera cable back...

MD!
We're getting some snow again. Have you had any yet?!
At least it's nothing to worry about, probably a dusting and a morning of drivers freaking out and causing wrecks, but other than that, I'm good with that kind of weather.
Snowy days after Christmas does not agree with me.
