Yea but…personal taxes only account for only so much of the governments income, actually corporations & businesses pay the lions share.

But since these entities pass on costs…you will end up paying for it in higher prices and job losses. (as I pointed out in another thread)

The government plans to enhance its revenues with programs like “Cap & Trade”, and trying to explain that to people, and how it will hurt the economy, is like trying to explain brain surgery…and that is why the right tries to frame the issue as an “Income Tax Issue”.

Most people don’t give a rats ass how much businesses pay in costs and taxes, because the liberals control the dialogue in this country. So the right tries to paint the picture in terms it “thinks” people will respond to. (and apparently it works) But it’s disingenuous.

As far as Obama lying…well we all know politicians lie, but in this case, he is lying by omission, and articles like that do nothing to expose that fact. It just confuses the issue.

I made the switch to TNH recently. The Jerry Springer like cable news shows have just gone off the deep end. Chairs will soon be thrown.

Hannity, Oreilly, Olbermann, Madow, Lou Dobbs, etc.

As to the Obama plan giving and taking, where he touts that peeps will be getting more money back from reduced payroll taxes (average 65.00/month) you will still be taxed at the end of the year on what your gross is. Yearly income tax's do not change. So at the end of the year the govt gets some of what they gave you. Sucks if the income increase slips you into the next higher tax bracket. Ain't Alfred E's tax plan glorious?
