Piss off Ferno. The guy wasn't being disrespectful in any way, just expressing his self how he thinks. Why you gotta be a damn douchebag all the time? [smile]Middle Finger[/smiley]

Ferno wrote:after playing the singleplayer campain, if you can call it that, I'd have to say it's a major letdown. Sure the infantry mode was pretty decent where things actually worked for a change, there is a massive lack of both tank gameplay, and aircraft gameplay.
Considering that the Battlefield series is a heavily multiplayer-focused franchise, I doubt the singleplayer was never really meant to be anything special.

Ferno actually they built BF3 on the sole reason of bringing back the Helos and jets....... just for the beta did they not have them. but man they really kicked up the physics on the jets and helos they fly even more realistic !

...unless you actually try to use a hotas system.

oh.. and at the speeds the jets fly at in the game, they would actually fall out of the air.

just sayin.

oh now that i WILL agree with...... ive seen the jets pull some rather unusual "Harrier" Style hovering but pointed forwards and not upwards like in BF2

i have a X52 Saitek and i love it. the jets im not liking very much due to these physics, but the helos i love!

saying the helis and jets fly realistically in BF3 is like saying driving on ice is a realistic interpretation of an F1 race.

I fly helis. not the full size ones, but RC ones. The same suckers that are disgustingly hard to learn how to fly. Helis in any game, no matter how 'realistic the physics are' are just a joke. It's a fantasy setting and nowhere near the real thing.

Yeah, BF3 is definitely not a flight sim, just like it's not a combat sim.

IRL, one hit and you're not doing so hot!

If BF3 will be done as possible close to RL who will play it then? Very limited amount of people, imho.

It's a game, not a real military simulator or whatever, so it's ok.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting it should be real. I wouldn't play it either. That's part of the reason I don't like Americas Army - it's too hard.
