no, it doesn't change your characterization as bull★■◆●. Not one bit. Face it, you don't like it, but the United States is FAR more peaceful and safe than it was 4 years ago, and the threat levels, despite a wholesale change of status quo in the Arab world, aren't all that major. Hell, the embassy things are unpleasant, the Libyan one tragic, but the fact is that much of the Arab world is REJECTING the extremes. Look at the public response in Libya, the locals went on rampages on the Islamic militia sites for days. It is slow thing, winning over the region, but, slowly, we ARE winning over much of the Arab world. So long as we don't return to the bluster, blunders and arrogance that marked US policy for so long, we will prevail. Obama gets that. You don't...

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds just eight percent (8%) of Likely U.S. Voters did not watch any of the debates.
Woohoo, I'm in good company!

Didn't you say a while back that Rasmussen was the good pollster after I referenced Gallup? I suspect the only good pollster to you Slicky is the one putting Obama in the lead. As to credible, Rasmussen came the closest to predicting the presidential 2008 race.

no, I stated that Rasmussen is CONSISTENT, although with a steady GOP bias of 3-7%. The editorial policy of Rasmussen is decidedly conservative.

Same thing happened in Yemen. Once the local populace saw that the US was there to help the government and local militias, they went absolutely apeshit on AQAP.
As long as the US assists the local countries and not the other way around (where the yemenis are helping the US), extremists might end up becoming non-existant.
Dammit woody, don't you DARE turn this into another obama bashfest. It's old and it needs to stop.

Yes, because there shouldn’t be any Obama bashing, in a thread started to bash Romney.

well, I don't like that kind of bashing either. Critiquing a speech or behaviour is one thing but calling the man a boob? That's getting into bashing.
also, this might interest you guys.
Looks to me like the bashing seems a lot like bashing a mirror image.

It's not just empty rhetoric that the Democratic and Republican parties are pretty close to one and the same thing these days.
