LOL. And the house democrats all slap themselves on the head and say "Why didn't we think of that?". Countdown till the democrat version hits.

Are you implying the federal agent is lying about what the Whitehouse email response was?
Or are you merely trying, once again, to change the focus to the messenger again?

no, i believe what he's saying is we need two (or more) citations from different sources, from different areas of the spectrum, in order to reach a consensus.
Multiple citations from one source usually leads to a narrow viewpoint.

thanks Fermo......exactly right. When I see the only source coming from a known dubious source(for the record, I would feel the same about glaringly biased leftwing sources), I get suspicious.

Sec. Tom Vilsack, Obama's head of The Department of Agriculture is making typical excuses for the email instead of denying it was sent so my point and prediction is proving to be true.
The mainstream media is blatently refusing to pick the story up, yet if this had been Bush's team doing this Dan Rather would already have had documents forged to show Bush was off killing babies and dragging black men behind his truck instead of disciplining his errant cabinet members for using such shameful political tactic.
If Fox News can sustain it long enough to get some buzz going the mainstream will reluctantly have to report on it. Right now they are probably too busy investigating the character of the official who leaked the story....

Oh yeah! I'm waitin' for whatever lame excuse
they come up with to save one of their beloved items in these budget cuts! The Dems are always behind the curve. Morons.
You know what frosts me about all this budget BS? This whole constantly repeating budget impasse is just plain
embarrassing for our country. Wash, rinse, repeat. We're the world's foremost superpower and yet, our government looks like it's being run by the The Stooges on steriods. We're becoming the world's laughing stock. Shame on Congress and the President for putting partisanship over governance. Yes, BOTH sides are guilty of playing the game and BOTH sides are going to have to give on their principles and come to grips with the facts there are
people in this country looking for some intelligent leadership.

mainstream media? huh, I only thought the conspiracy people believed that...
there was an interesting piece in TIME magazine that I read about the GOP. In a nutshell, if they can't figure out how to adopt the more modern aspects of the country, they'll slowly wither away into oblivion. Twenty years of America saying 'no thanks' should have been a wakeup call.

Yea, I guess the Republican party will have to change, maybe they can change their name to “PanderParty2”.
The demise of a party like the Republicans became inevitable when the Democrats learned the secret of how to win national elections…that being…
1. Take the number one concern of every sub group in America, and pander to that point.
2. Write off any people that will never vote for you, and demonize them.
What we need in this country are more political parties so the Democrats can’t hog up every little group. Believe me I know for a fact that the Democratic voters are not a bunch of progressive intellectuals, far from it, more like a large bunch of gimmies. (gimme this, gimme that)
The Republicans are hampered by having core ideals, while the Democrats have no such impedances.
I would love to see how well the Democrats would do in an environment with more viable parties.

Well, when the Republican Party quits being the party of right wing crazies, corporate shills and religious nutcases, then they'll save their party. They actually used to be fiscally conservative, until Bush started his drunken war spending spree. The Dems have had their share of hippie craziness and lefty socialism in the past, like during the 1960's. When the parties shift to their extremes, they will eventually fail. Just as the Dems will also fail if they don't shed their corporate coziness they seem to have been infected with as of late.

The current Hippie Wannabe in Chief is a kid who grew up getting stoned a decade and a half too late to experience the '60's in his prime so he's retroactively
'fighting the power'! He's Malcom X in the Whitehouse! Would make a great TV sitcom....makes a lousy real life President though.

Yeah you're certainly not a Republican Will.
Republicans are hampered by core ideals huh...ideals like hate, division, bigotry, racism, etc. Get a grip Spidey, the reasons your party will lose are a little more complex than what you listed. Take your number one for example, you write it as if paying attention to groups of citizens that the GOP doesn't even think about is the wrong thing to do. It's not the Democrats fault that the GOP has alienated so many people in the process, eventually people are going to pay attention to what's being said about them. As for number two, guess what? YOUR SIDE DOES THAT TOO!!!

National politics has been purposely brought to the level of sports teams, boys, and that means if you're against the Democratic party you must be pulling for the opposing team. I think that may be evidence of what kind of political opposition we're dealing with.

I'd believe that if I thought Obama WAS fighting the man. Instead, he's been in
BED with the man so far.

Read his books and you'll get the reference. Not saying he's fulfilling that goal, after all he now IS the man in many ways. I'm just saying that you raised the specter of 'hippy leftists' in the D party as if they are an anomaly yet our President has tried to wear that costume since he was in college. And he's trying hard to score the ultimate touchdown with it now that he's the President.
Like white guys from my era all wanted to be some rendition of a John Wayne movie character, in many ways Obama's version of being a cultural hero is from a very unique mold.
His quest, fueled by his being black but not having had to be 'down with the struggle', entering politics he had to seek out and align himself with people of color who had fought the struggle to get himself some street cred and then balance that with the fact that he is actually articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. He even had to create racial strife for his story...I guess there is no white guilt like that of a black white guy. Out of all that he's MalcomX goes to Washington!

Yeah... it's so entrenched you can't even see it, which is typical of racism. But here:

First, he's not black, he's mixed. If you knew any mixed race people you would know they suffer from a unique kind of racism, never being fully accepted by either race of their parents. But that's another topic. You have this sick vision of colored people and their struggle in your head. To you, they are stupid, dirty, inarticulate, and ugly.
Click here for a video of the person who embodies the struggle for racial equality. Inarticulate? Unattractive? I dare say not. When I think stupid, inarticulate, and ugly, I think of Honey Boo-boo and Jersey Shore. Those people represent a slice of America that is much, much larger than the 12.5% that disgust you so much.

That's funny! You can't see it but you see it anyway!
Maybe you see not what is there but what you want to see....
That is your prejudice leading the way.
As for the unique struggle of a mixed race white/black man. You are just afirming the foundation of my observations.
Now, for my alleged crime of being that evil racist, go Google the comment: "
articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy"
Then learn something
Then take your accusation of racism to the source of those words
Then go and apologize to your English teacher for your failure to learn the proper definition of the word racisism.
Then climb down off that high horse and apologize for accusing me of being a racist because you saw what your bigoted, self righteous personality wanted you to see instead of what was.

I'm getting weary of this.
Talk about racism. Talk about racism inherent in the other guys' worldview. Talk about examples of racists in the other guys' party. It's a good topic.
But the personal "you're a racist" / "you're prejudiced" shots are out of line, guys. Cool it.

It's inexcusable no matter who said it. Biden says he was taken out of context. You, however, are not. The context is clear. You hate blacks.
