Not sure how much I'm allowed to say...
The singleplayer "story" is our big focus and we're planning to release it episodically, but we've only just "hired" the art talent we need to actually start producing stuff. Once we have a decent amount of concept art the actual meat of the design (levels, cutscenes, etc.) will start moving fast. I think beta testing is mostly going to be closed (but don't quote me on that, we haven't discussed it very much). Because of that delay in getting concept artists -- I don't think we realized how important concept art is when we were starting! -- the first episode probably won't come until sometime next year. The story writing itself, at least, is well ahead of the rest of the design. And I'm 100 percent sure about that. (I should be!) XD
In the meantime we're planning a multiplayer release with one or two maps and level editing support for Christmas, and most of what it needs is already done.

Thx. I knew single player was the main thrust of the project with multi to be eyeballed at a later time.

Multiplayer is easier, actually, so it would make sense to aim for that first - something to get the ball rolling.
