Here, I will tentatively agree with you. If Okinawa goes into Chinese hands, I will guess there is no one to go to war with

Why use weapons to conquer, when you can just buy us up, piece by piece? Yum, Chinese pork products. Hope they don't dump the dead and diseased pigs in our rivers like they do in theirs.

The funny thing is that Ryukyuans have never really considered themselves Japanese. But I don't think they'd consider themselves Chinese either.

Still, I'd think that Land grabbing was kind of over in this day and age from larger countries. A bit naive of me to be sure, but to risk war these days could solve the whole "over population" conundrum in a hurry.
