that congressman is not even allowed by the Chair to SPEAK publicly at committee hearings. Going to the IRS directlly is hardly inappropriate, given how Issa has chosen to make of mockery of the committee. Corruption would indicate that something was done for personal gain. Who gained what, here?

Ya except that he went to the IRS BEFORE it ever became public and BEFORE the hearings started. cmon slick, quit making excuses. this IS corruption.

those hearings have been a disgusting joke since they were first convened. Once again, a Congressman contacting an exec department isn't even news, let alone evidence of 'corruption', no matter where in the process it occurred.
