Show him.
Naw, I'm not about to prove myself to someone like Zurick. If he wants to look, it's there.
You did with Sigma. why not Z?

Maybe he has to push the right buttons.
Sigma specifically asked, one vet to another. Why don't you show z where the topic is. All he will do then is discount it.

I have to wonder what your mental make up is that you frequent such sites:

saw video of the remark, and googled a print article. Blind luck.

Ha, I saw that and immediately thought of this thread. Seriously, how the hell do these wannabees not have handlers whose job it is to stop them from spewing this sort of bull★■◆●? I know I'd sure as hell never trust him poking around in my head if that's what his medical "expertise" amounts to.

Let's get this out in the open. Woodchip, do you believe homosexuality is a choice?

Carson himself has apologized for the idiot remark. Woody runs with it. Yes, woody, I've known folks in prison. Lots of folks I hung with, back in the day, did time(none 'chose' to be gay), and my late brother in law died in prison. Feel free to show that you have insight that disproves my observations. As vision asked, do YOU believe that being homosexual is a choice? Not, as in a prison situation, victimizing weaker prisoners out of sexual deprivation, but in the outside world.

Lets see, let me do a vision here. Back in Greek days if a young man wanted to get ahead he formed a relationship with a older man that was homosexual in nature. In this case the choosing was not based on genetics but on way of life. Are there people genetically predisposed to homosexuality...sure. What do you believe?

That it 'could' be a choice is not the same from declaring it to always be a choice. Woody's example could be seen as choice, but were there not desires in the older men to start the tradition? You start to get to chicken v egg in even THAT example. Surely, in modern times, there is no argument to be made for social betterment, at least in the past 10 centuries in the Western world. Like I say, whether admirable or not, I'll credit Woodchip for staying with this reasoning longer than Ben Carson himself did........

I believe too many people think sexuality is binary. Sexuality is a continuum. Ancient Greek culture embraced that concept. Our Puritan-rooted culture does not.

And I'll credit you for ongoing ignorance of societal and peer pressures. Want a modern day example? Try Afghanistan.

I'll just credit you with ignorance at this point, Woody. Like I said, even Carson realizes his comments were asinine at this point. Sad that you don't.

oh, and I largely agree with vision's opinion. Sexuality is a continuum, not black or white, or cut and dried. Our culture tends to ignore that due to Protestant heritage.

When you fall back on the ignorance statements it really means you cannot refute what I am stating.

Once again slick is showing his vapors. How about the Muslim heritage? does the Qur'an embrace homosexuality?

Now if we could just get the current president to disavow his belief in “fairy tales”.

Just think how much ignorance he could shine a light on.

Sorry you religious guys…I was just using their line of reasoning.

since when does our culture rely on Muslim heritage? I was talking, if you had the capacity to read for comprehension(as was vision) about THIS country.
