Seems you still need some place where you can put the towel on.

Every locker room I've ever been in, some do, some dont. But almost everyone is nude by their locker

would it be such a far-fetched idea that one might... wear a towel into the stalls?
No, but then it is also not so farfetched that the person might take all there clothes of first before wrapping a towel around them.

"their" "off"

OK spell Nazis, And who in the heck wears a bathing suit to shower in after a sweaty workout. Is that what the Canadian school system require for high school students? I'm mean where do you come up with wearing a bathing suit to shower in unless you are rinsing off at a public beach?

or a public washroom

why would a trans walk around naked? dude come on, they already feel extremely self-concious already, with everyone looking at them like they're freaks.

and why are you even arguing about this? Go find a transgender, and ask them what they would do if they were in a public washroom. Or are you just doing your regular thing, trying to find a technicality and exploiting it.

Yeah, I can just about guarantee that an transgender individual who hadn't undergone gender-reassignment surgery wouldn't be changing in a public space.

...not at all, because the shower/changing area in question consisted of private cubicles in the first place!

and I posted a floor plan of planet fitness showing only the shower stalls were private...changing area was not.

...and as I just said, a transgender individual would almost certainly be changing in the private cubicle instead of that public area.

And you know this how?

Because I happen to use a little ol' thing called "common sense"? Given the amount of discrimination and outright vitriol that transgender individuals experience in general, in what universe would they willingly open themselves up to even more in such a fashion? That's even presuming that they felt comfortable displaying the physical features of a gender they didn't identify as.

ever met a transgender, or gay, or switch?

Show me a place that has no issues with transgender people, and I'll show you a society that has grown up.

I live in Portland. The 4th highest % concentration of gays in America. I've met. Friended, employed, and am related to more than you will meet in your life.

The question remains.

Ya common sense. Because we can always count on "common sense" as evidence of fact and statistics

Trans-persons are not "gays." You still have a lot to learn. Take Ferno's advice and meet one.

okay, i'm going to make this really simple.

Transgender = man who realized he's a woman inside + attracted to opposite gender + sex change.

gay = man/woman who isn't a man/woman inside + attracted to same gender

If that is the case then "transgender" is a misnomer, and in fact the proper word would be transsexual…which we know is impossible.

(if someone is actually the other gender “inside” then there is no “trans”)

And yea, I know what you’re going to say…so don’t bother.

Also I know for a fact that some people change their gender to avoid living as a “gay” person, although this is not the majority.

WAIT A SECOND Vision says a transgender is a woman. You guys need to get your stories straight.

I'll point to Chaz Bono and say neither one of you know what the hell you're talking about.

This is just one of the many ways sexuality manifests itself. You can also be a lesbian born in a male body, get sexual reassignment as a woman, then date women. All combinations are possible and real.
CUDA wrote:WAIT A SECOND Vision says a transgender is a woman. You guys need to get your stories straight.
Never said that. Ever. You have reading problem, for sure. A transgender person can be man or woman. In the Planet Fitness article the trans-person in question is a trans-woman (female orientation, male body).

No…woman orientation.

Try to get it straight now…

Gender = mental/psychological = man/woman
Sex = Biological/physical = male/female

noooo, vision isn't the one that needs to get his story straight, nor do I.

A trans can also be a woman who realized she is a man.

This is not a difficult concept.

Go ahead, try to label me as a flip flop or some other silliness. I'll wait. ;)

“A trans can also be a woman who realized she is a man.”

Shouldn’t that be…”A trans can also be a woman who realized ‘he’ is a man.”

Heh…this is fun. :lol:
