Ok I guess yahoo maps is retarded :/
so heres some incredibly easy text directions!
Take exit 33.
*If coming from Portland area, Take a left back over the freeway go thru first light. stay in left lane and turn left at next light(pfenninger rd.)**. Follow pfenninger to stop sign(upton rd). Turn right, follow upton to stop sign(Gibbon rd). Turn right on Gibbon, go thru "s" curve. We will be 3rd house on the right. mailbox is marked and we will have a sign out front!
*If coming from cali area take exit 33 turn right take first left(pfeninger rd)follow the directions after**
Its as easy as that
(unless you are the map designer for yahoo evidently)

Good call. Thanks Hattrick! The only thing is that I'm going on a family vacation from August 23rd-27th. I dunno if I'll get back in time to make flying to the LAN worth it.

You could fly into Eugene, but you might have to catch a hop from Portland.

Well, I'm in danger of not being able to make it. I just scored a test-internship with National Geographic for sound on August 26th. If all goes well I'll be on shoots the 27th, and 28th as well. If it goes bad, I'll be at the LAN ;0

I've agonized over this, and am now going to flip-flop and decide not to attend. It goes very much against my nature to default on personal commitments, but there are too many factors working against me on this one.
Apologies to Hattrick, SQN, and the other LAN attendees.

Jeebus !... look at us.. falling like flies ! Me too ! I gotta decline to attend since my company was just bought by this company on August 1:
http://www.prtgroup.com/locations/
My travel expenses were to be paid by my old boss who was going to send me on a sales trip to Roseburg Oregon. I cannot fund the whole trip myself, plus my new boss needs me here until Sept. 30... Reality swats us
Sorry Hattrick et al. ... I hope to see ya in the mines !

well that kinda blows!
Sorry to see y'all cant make it. We are pretty much ready to go here on our end. Just a few more loose ends to wrap up.
I know that info on the lan has been slow coming and I appoligize for that. As with y'all my schedule has really bounced me like a ping pong ball and thus making it difficult for me to keep going on with the planning. But we(Rover Klasher and I) talked it over and decided that even if only a few peeps showed it would be well worth the effort on our part.
I can say we are already making plans for a bigger better located lan next spring and will definately get it better organised for a bigger crowd!
With the loss of the above players were gonna have a small cozy little lan, but We are DEFINATELY lanning this weekend!
I'd like to thank Rover and Klasher for doing the brunt of the work while I've been off showing the Hogs.
Also if anyone attending has a winblows 2000 pro disc I'd appriciate it if you could bring it to the lan.I need it to install a new vid card so I can play Gaylo errrr I mean Halo with y'all. Thx!
As I mentioned we're ready to lan and cant wait to meet everyone who is still attending! See y'all there! -Hat

Well, This Mac Pilot is still coming, thx 2 Lothar. That means Gr. as well(Duh), prob making me the only Mac Pilot in this kinda shindig again... Oh well. Well this time he won't B alone, cuz I decided 2 bring Max's Win Brain as well, My tiny Windows box. He isn't much, but he gets the job done for what I need him 4.

wohoooooo!!!
tomorrows the day!
Lookin forward to Lanning with y'all!
remember to grab my cell # off the site in case you get lost!
Dont forget all the Lan essentials! Headphones, discs, nic card etc etc! Also bring your good attitude as it will be essential!
@ Grendel... well its a groundpounder so of course it will be boring!
But it seems a lot of descent peeps be playin it, so I'm givin it a try.
Posted: Thu Aug 26, 2004 10:35 pm

But it's extremly boring even for a groundpunder -- I's told that it's used on LAN parties for warmup. And I think Vulcan told me that he fell asleep once on flag defense ;D (I can see why..) Most D3 guys that played Halo gave it up already
Anyway, I'll bring D3, Dm3 & Halo plus W2k, XP. I got all packed and ready to -- hope the system won't spring a leak, wish me luck
I'm planning to be on the road bu 11, should be there 2-3 depending on how it goes. I'll also bring some hardware I don't use, we can raffle that away or make it tourney prices.
See you tomorrow !

Is the tent-camping offer still available? Drak and I would prefer tent camping for free to spending $130 on a hotel.
Fusion, we'll pick you up on the way down -- Portland just after 6 PM. I have the address (etc) printed out. Have you figured out sleeping arrangements for yourself?
We should arrive at the LAN around 10 PM. Looking forward to it!
