Will, maybe he just didn't support preemptive strikes on enemies that weren't actually a threat ;p

"was naming some examples of foreigners who would prefer Kerry to Bush because with a president Kerry their anti-american activities wouldn't be challenged like they are by Bush."

This is BS and you know it.

No Ferno, it's not BS.
Kerry has stated his position in no uncertain terms, at least twice. He started back in the 70's with an address to congress and repeated a similar line of reasoning in the primary campain this year.

*******************

Birdseye, true enough *if* he claimed that was his reason in just the specific case of Iraq for example..or just in the case of Bush's foriegn policy but he didn't.
Instead he offered it as a generic policy template for how he would handle using our military overseas *anytime* they were needed and has offered that scenario before, when he ran for congress at the start of his political career, long before Bush was a politician let alone President!

Ferny, stop trying to twist Will's words into something they're not. You know damn well they haven't or ever will say "Yes, I'd prefer Kerry over Bush" literally. To imply that this is what Will is saying is just silly.

Think about it, if you were them, wouldn't you wan't Kerry instead of Bush? I would. I'm sure Saddam would have liked Al Gore to have won the Presidency 4 years ago right about now. Bin Laden probably couldn't give a rats ass who was/is President but he sure as hell knows who he is dealing with.

meh...I can hear the horse whinnying in pain as we speak.
