That's called "sabre rattling". It's a favorite chest thumping, time tested, male method of proving who's the alpha male. Sometimes it's better to back off and be happy being bottom boy than to end up with both contestants dead when total annihilation is the probable outcome. Most males in nature don't even go that far. Besides, patience is a virtue, rushing into things without planning always screws up. Russia will choke on their sword eventually and we'll be sitting in the cat bird's seat watching then fail. Beside, 4 of their vaunted, high quality, high tech, cruise missiles went off course and blew up somewhere in Iran. Maybe Iran will get pissed off at the Russians if they accidentally blow up some Iranian city. :wink:
