he is at 42% in a poll of LIKELY GOP PRIMARY VOTERS. In other words, the 30% of the hardest core of the party that only claims 20% of all US voters.
Saying you have less than half of 6% of the adult population isn't an impressive statistic.

He couldn't respond to bringing up something from the dark shadows of the Nazis. He's had to walk back his statement, ever so slightly by blaming a reporter.

Well, it's either that, or outright
lie to everyone since Trump seems to have a Teflon suit of armor that no one can penetrate with anything remotely approaching the truth.

the guy just posted a set of bogus death stats for blacks and whites, citing a non-existant source, borrowed from a Neo-Nazi web page. He will kill off the GOP yet.

Yeah, and I bet if anyone in the media had the balls to push it into Trump's face, he'd just stand there and say that they were making those stats up,
despite solid evidence to the contrary. Trump also swears he heard Muslims cheer in New Jersey when the Twin Towers fell, despite boatloads of evidence that it never happened, from multiple, reliable, sources. He's fear-mongering his way to the presidency and his xenophobic followers are eating it up like candy. God help us, it's not the terrorists we'll have to worry about if this guy actually gets elected. Damn, I wish Jeff had left images active. I've got a good one for this.

I already feel sorry for the Americans. It's not funny anymore, and just sad to see how one of the world's major powers so rapidly and foolishly loses its credibility in the world. PBS is not a news channel supermarket chain, in the end.

Like when they edited the Trevon Marten tapes, CNN get caught editing a Trump tape. Must be nice to have the news doing the dirty work for the Dems:
Left-wing cable news network CNN has been caught red-handed selectively editing Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s comments about a “Muslim registry,” and doing so in order to make it sound as though he is agreeing to this registry. He is not.

Good grief woody. Trump's black death stats AND his insistence that he heard Muslims cheering after the Twin Tower fell are plain outright lies that anyone with an internet connection and half a brain can verify. Are you in love with the man that much you'd overlook crap like that, no matter what BS CNN puts out? He's clearly pandering to his fearful base.

it’s not enough for Trump to merely avoid fading. Right now, he has 25 to 30 percent of the vote in polls among the roughly 25 percent of Americans who identify as Republican. (That’s something like 6 to 8 percent of the electorate overall, or
about the same share of people who think the Apollo moon landings were faked.) As the rest of the field consolidates around him, Trump will need to gain additional support to win the nomination. That might not be easy, since some Trump actions that appeal to a faction of the Republican electorate may alienate the rest of it. Trump’s favorability ratings are middling among Republicans (and awful among the broader electorate).

You did, but it was in Palestine, not the U.S.
So if Trump was so irritated by Arabs dancing in New Jersey streets, why didn't he mention it during this interview right after 9/11?

Thing is, with the "muslims dancing in the streets", it's completely bogus.
All they did was cut in a random clip and label it that way.

This is just so bogus and out of touch with reality that I don't know where to begin. To consolidate, Real Clear Politics has Trump within 4 points of Hillary in the national run off.

no, Woody, making far fetched, generalized comparisons to trivial stuff from 4 years ago by way of excusing retweeting neo-nazi posts with blatantly false data about deaths, as well as making up a story about 'thousands' of US citizens celebrating 9/11 when no such thing ever happened is childish.

well, when it mirrors the "jews dancing in the streets" nonsense, and when it's talking about the muslim community of Jersey City (which a quick fact check reveals that it didn't happen), i'd say it's fake.

Uh woody, when have I ever said that Hillary was just a poor persecuted angel? I haven't forgotten all the crap that transpired while Bill was pres. and which she was involved in up to her neck and I haven't forgotten her little "lies" or cover-ups while she was Sec. of State. I wouldn't vote for her if I could help it, unless the only choices were either her or Trump. Trump is a far scarier prospect than old insider politician Hillary.
