You're insinuating a nefarious plot between Schiff and the whistleblower. What do you suspect the goal of this plot was? Surely you have a theory.
Same reason Schiff found it necessary to hold hearings in secret. Let the Dems vote to impeach and we'll get a answer to your question.

Oh I wondered what reason you would have for thinking it was stupid, of course it is some completely ridiculous conspiracy theory.
So, yes. Let the dems vote to impeach and then the senate trial will once again prove all your theories are wrong, but the republicans will acquit anyway. Nothing changes.

That isn't an answer, just more insinuation of a nefarious scheme. The depositions weren't held in secret, they just weren't public. There's a distinction.
Just say what you think their goal was. It seems to me you want to believe this whole thing is fake news. That the Dems, Schiff, the whistleblower, the witnesses, etc are all acting in bad faith to make the President look bad. But I don't know because you won't say.

I like how woody still thinks Trump needs any outside interference whatsoever to make himself look terrible.
This is your brain. This is your brain on Fox. Any questions?

Wow, I don't even know were to begin. First, let me get this out of the way: F-U-C-K Joe Biden. He was literally
a joke during the Obama administration. Put him in jail if he did something wrong, I don't give a crap. Put Hillary in there too for all I care. Second, I don't worship any person or party even though I was a registered Republican most of my life. I'm NPP now, for good.
President Trump held up aid to an ally in order to pressure that ally into helping with domestic politics. In addition to being a major breach of national security, this is a clear, impeachable violation of the Oath of Office and was corroborated by several
extremely credible witnesses. There is nothing to dispute here. The president admitted it.
Regarding whistle-blowers: the Obama administration was absolutely terrible about protection of people who sought to root out corruption in the US government. It looks like Trump is following Obama's footsteps instead of "draining the swamp."
Got anymore whataboutism or debunked conspiracy theories? I can do this all day. There are mountains of facts behind me.

And guess which party MADE those most recent House rules? YOUR STUPID PARTY! John Boehner signed them as the new House rules on 1/2015. You have no leg to stand on to complain about it and neither does your treasonous hypocritical and lawless party. If you don't believe Napolitano, Google it for yourself.

Oh, and you don't like what Sonland said, never mind you made no comment on Mulvaney's flub and ALL the testimony of those other seasoned diplomats, a Federal Judge just ruled that Don Mcgahn now has to comply with a congressional subpoena and testify. That might also signal that Bolton can give testimony as well. I hope to God so. I wonder what both men will have to say about Trump? Plus, Giuliani is now on both state and federal radars. Time for the Giuliani chicken to come home to roost and he's claimed he's got "insurance" if Trump throws him under the bus. At this point, the whistleblower is now irrelevant.
