It's relevant because Trump wanted to turn the Department of Justice into his own little propaganda machine. He wanted to use the DOJ to put some legitimacy to the outright fabrication of a corrupt 2020 election by selecting someone willing to lie and violate their of the oath of office once they become Trump's new puppet, I mean AG.
