CDN_Merlin, I absolutely LOVE poutine!!! I had plenty of it when I went to Montreal on two seperate occasions. I can't wait to have some more. You can't get that stuff down here.
They were even able to deliver poutine to our hotel room at 4:30am in the morning. That is awesome.

Most places that I got it started off with a layer of fries (possibly seasoned) in a bowl. Then they add cheese curds, gravy, meat (maybe steak, chicken), onions, and perhaps some other vegetables. Some just put fries, cheese curds and gravy on it though. It is all awesome. My friend has had peas in her chicken poutine before..

May not look like much, but it's got it where it counts.
My grandmother was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She makes awesome poutine.

As for the actual question, I'll take American-Chinese (but I'll also go for more "real" Chinese/Japanese on occasion, it's good for something different
), and Mexican (Tex-Mex isn't all bad, and sometimes you get in the mood for the watered-down stuff). Then of course your good old-fashioned pizza/burgers/whatever else you can get from a fast food joint. (Good fast food = La Salsa. Black bean and cheese burritos, yummy!)

Sushi kicks some serious ass. If you know a good place to get it from. We have a great Japanese food resauraunt. The chef knows how to make some serious Sushi!
