I greatly prefer using the internet for porn then dating advice. Both of them lead to masterbation, but one of them leads to it much sooner!

To give good advice on this sort of thing, you just have to know the person. You need to know their strengths and weaknesses. I'm not criticizing your rules Ice, I'm just saying that they are really general rules, and if anyone is wanting specific situation advice, then they need to ask someone that knows them.

just for the record bunbun: i just read a lot of books.

i've never been in a relationship in my entire life and women generally find me to be a boil on the sole of the foot of humanity.

i was gonna get a digital camera and post photos of all those young, drunk, and careless young ladies i claim to have had human interaction with... but i would be posting nothing.

For a second I thought you said for a certain period of time each month... If you combine PMS with a bad day (and that isn't uncommon, considering) you might not have much of a chance at the simpathy date. Nitro, I'd go by a few guidelines (I'm saying you *might* have a chance- people do change their minds)

1) how long has it been? I'd say if it has been less than 6 months, stick it out a bit longer
2) have you seen her or talked to her at all duting the period- does she seem to enjoy being around you?

I'll back Ice up, too. If I have learned anything from conversations with my girlfriend, the only difference between being incredibly romantic and being a stalker is that in one case the girl wants it and in the other she doesn't. There isn't any shame in asking a chick's female friends for advice- if they say not to, don't, 'cause the chick doesn't want it.
