To give good advice on this sort of thing, you just have to know the person. You need to know their strengths and weaknesses. I'm not criticizing your rules Ice, I'm just saying that they are really general rules, and if anyone is wanting specific situation advice, then they need to ask someone that knows them.

For a second I thought you said for a certain period of time each month... If you combine PMS with a bad day (and that isn't uncommon, considering) you might not have much of a chance at the simpathy date. Either way, you'd have to do really well that first date to get anywhere, but it's better than no date at all.

Nitro, I'd go by a few guidelines (I'm saying you *might* have a chance- people do change their minds)

1) how long has it been? I'd say if it has been less than 6 months, stick it out a bit longer
2) have you seen her or talked to her at all duting the period- does she seem to enjoy being around you?


I'll back Ice up, too. If I have learned anything from conversations with my girlfriend, the only difference between being incredibly romantic and being a stalker is that in one case the girl wants it and in the other she doesn't. There isn't any shame in asking a chick's female friends for advice- if they say not to, don't, 'cause the chick doesn't want it.
