Heck yeah! I want to help! maybe I can make one of them kaugh with my CHicken Charge taunt (if the kids have them turned on...)
Anyway, It's kinda like being that dad or friend of the family be wrestlled to the ground by a kid so the kid can have the joy of the pin...
Anyway, just give me some tips to losing gracefully, and not obliviously annd I'll be there! I wonder how bad you can be using trifusion...

I can definitely be there, too. I have a couple of little sisters who I would love to introduce to the game.
Oh, and I can also set up a dedicated server, if any one would like. I run the \"Central\" servers, and could put one up semi-permanently on the trackers (or off the trackers, if that's better for keeping the wackos out).

Hey that'd be great, Foil... I wrote a level just for the kids. Its' got lots of monsterballs, and a two lane bowling alley (no scoring). My idea is to only email it to people who have kids or offer to play with them. That way it can be on the trackers but we can keep out certian individuals. MOST people are very kool when you tell them it is a kids game but it only takes one to screw it up. I'm going to light the mine tonight and I'll email a link to whoever wants it.

Send me the link, I can play a bit tonight, only leaving town tomorrow

Sounds good, WillyP! Send me the link, I'll put up the server, and post the info here.

I'm sending the link via PM... anyone I missed let me know.
Sorry about the delay, perhaps we can get together Sunday.

Alright! The server is up, and on trackers as \"Kids Only Central\" (playing Robo-Anarchy to make sure the balls are available, since the level wouldn't let me host it as Monsterball).
I'll have it up all day Sunday, and if there's demand, I can keep it up semi-permanently. I may even jump in there myself at some point.

Thanks Foil...
Foil is hosting a level I made just for kids, \"KidsPort1\" its on the server \"Kids Only Central\". Anyone who has kids who want to play and learn to play, and any adults who agree to play nice with the kids may PM me and I will PM you a link to download the level.
This level is not to be posted for public download, this is to help keep it to only those who are \"kid friendly\".
We will be in and out all day, as we have a few things to do, the kids don't have much patientce to hang out in an empty level. I don't see it in KQuery, but it does show up in the CX tracker.
BTW, we were in it and everything was ok, then a custom texture turned to default texture. Anyone know what would cause this?

Server works, funny map.
Tell me when a bunch of kids are gonna be on, I can help, and I am 13 so that makes it even better for me to do it.

Thanks, it was meant to be entertaining...
I'm going to try to be in today at 4:00pm est... (est=gmt-5:00)
My kids are X-Ray, age 6, and Dr Wakemen, age 8.

A few people in there today. Fun level!
The only issue hosting is that the server crashes with an error message (something like \"error getting ball oof\") whenever it cycles. Hunter's D3Server tool has it back up within a couple of minutes, though, so it's okay as far as playing.

They fly pretty good! I was impressed and I see they have their finger on the trigger at all times. We need to teach them how to dodge. I'll work on that with them.

Well, the kids had a lot of fun... almost as much as the adults
Thanks Bett...and to all who played nice with the kids.
Shall we plan for next weekend? Let's say 9 am est, that'd be 1pm gmt. West coast is gmt-8 so that would be 7am. Germany is gmt+1 so they would be at 2pm.
I'm going to try to get a reset button scripted for pins, but I don't have a lot of free time during the week.
I'd like to set up an email list or a forum for anyone who wants to join, that'll make it easier for me to send out updates.
\"...server crashes...\" that explains why we had to quit and rejoin on the recycle. No error on the pins? strange... could it have somthing to do with the order in the mn3? Not a biggie, but...

I don't know enough about level design to know how to fix it, so I'll get a screenshot of the error when I get home from work, and e-mail it to you.

Dundun, that'd be great... X-ray was 4 or 5 when he started playing. He's just now starting to slide.
Foil, I don't know either, but I will post a question if I have to and maybee get an answer...

Yes, we will have to go on a public server. Haven't heard from Foil, he must be having problems.

Sorry, guys. I haven't been online much at all the last couple of days, and the servers were down for a while.
Anyway, I've got the \"Kids Only! Central\" server back up today (I'll try to have it up every weekend).

Thanks Foil...
Shall we plan on a game every Saturday at 9am EST? We did play in a few other servers for a while, but did not see any of the other kids. Xray had a good time exploring Canyon even by himself.

Actually, I can't use this machine (it's basically my only one) for game-serving purposes on most Saturday mornings, but I can have it up every Saturday by about 3PM EST, and keep it up all weekend.
Note: This coming Saturday, 4/1, I can have it up in the morning (this is an exception that won't normally be the case). Just drop me an email or PM to remind me, and I'll put it up Friday night.
