“This message is from the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan,” read Clemmensen from the flyer.

Clemmensen is one of the neighbors on Riverside Avenue near Gittings Street, who found a Ku Klux Klan flyer on the doorstep, a hateful handout with a recruitment phone number.

The flyer has derogatory statements about immigrants and uses the “N” word and the word “beast“ when talking about relationships and race.

“It’s just outrageous. This is pretty disgusting. It just hits a core of my values. I’m like, this is just not right,“ said Clemmensen.

The flyers were found on the same block where someone shot and killed Tim Moriconi during a robbery outside his home just over a week ago.

Police have arrested two suspects, a black man and black female.

Still, neighbors said they can’t imagine why anyone would make such a hateful delivery to their homes.

“The issue of Moriconi’s death, it’s been tough on all of us, and to make it racially charged is just terrible,” said Nick Mariano, who lives on the block.

“It defeats the purpose of people trying to come together and solve things and make it a better place for everybody. It’s a tactic to divide people,“ said neighbor John Bechill.

This happened in Baltimore City Councilman Eric Costello‘s district. He reported to police.

In a statement, he said the KKK has "no place in our country and is certainly not welcome in our city."
