agreed again My apologies Roid
Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., on Monday referenced a comment by Angle in calling for a change in the nation's political dialogue -- by will or by law.
Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pa., said he has no knowledge about what motivated Loughner to attack Giffords and the others, but he still wants legislation that bans the use of certain imagery when talking about congressional targets
Tuesday, Rep. Kurt Schrader, D-Ore., was quoted in the Oregon Statesman-Journal saying he blamed conservative media personalities like Fox News' Glenn Beck and radio host Rush Limbaugh
Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Calif., told Fox News that Angle \"talked about people rising up and taking over the government by force, using their guns. She was very explicit.\"
Sherman said that even if language used by Angle and her supporters hadn't incited the shootings in Arizona, eventually it will lead to violence
I agree that this maniac is probably not a vapid right-winger, but it sure is a funny coincidence this guy targeted that particular Congresswomen. What I'm saying is that Faux News, Dick Armey, Rush Limbaugh and Palin are all out there mouthing their brand of agitprop, all to try and blame liberals for this and that BS when the conservative media is out there stirring the pot. I place Sharon Angle in the same category with her "Second Amendment remedies" statement too, a call to rile the base.CUDA wrote:you really have turned into a pathetic person TC. Now today, Sarah Palin has had to gall to claim she's a "victim" in a prepared speech and use an old esoteric, anti-Semetic term I'd never heard of until now to cast blame. Maybe the term "Blood Libel" is being used to refer to herself as a victim, but she could just as easily be called an anti-Semite for using that particular term. So which is it Palin, the Jew's fault, the media's fault or just maybe, your own fault for once. You shall reap what you sow.
She posts a picture on her website of our country with crosshairs speckled all over it (and they're NOT surveyors marks you moron), placed over particular Congress member's districts, calling out to her base to "Don't retreat, reload!" (that's a gun metaphor if I ever heard it) and then comes out swinging when something violent happens. The incident may or may not be connected to her website, but why can't she take some personal responsibility, (a conservative mantra I hear ALL the time), instead of blaming someone else for a change. Her rhetoric stinks and she needs to take some responsibility for it. I'd have a little more respect for her if she had actually apologized. But no, she's an unrepentant boorish clod.

you'll notice in TC first post she makes the statement as fact that this guy was a Tea Part member. He's clearly a murderous nut- but he'll be used by the government against the Tea Party. Just watch
you might try reading the link also, you'll find that there is not a hint on who could have commited these acts. and yet TC joyously tried to say they are Tea party backed.TC wrote:Well now, the shoe's on the other foot. good company TC and Bee share there, Markos Moulitsas, Hanoi Jane Fonda, Michael Moore. all know the world over as left wing Nut jobs“My hatred for Sarah Palin continues to grow. I think this woman should be assassinated,” said one person. “Sarah Palin should be shot for her encouragement of fanaticism against Democrats,” says another.
Numerous left-wing commentators have accused Palin of inspiring the attack on Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that left 6 dead
The Daily Caller’s Jim Treacher reported that liberal blogger Matthew Yglesias, Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas, actress Jane Fonda, film critic Roger Ebert, and filmmaker Michael Moore all took to Twitter within hours of the attack to accuse Palin of being in some way responsible.

Sadly Bee does not mind. She thinks, in her emotional tinged world, that disagreement and ridicule of what she posts is reason enough to do a Timothy Leary "Turn on, Tune in, Drop out" towards those posters. As for Dreams From My Father...article wrote:For his second book, the 2006 "The Audacity of Hope," Obama got enough of an advance ($1.9 million for a three-book deal) and was certainly busy enough with his work in the Senate - not to mention laying the groundwork for his presidential campaign - that no one would have blamed him for going the ghostwriter route. But, according to Rachel Klayman, the Crown editor who worked with him on "Audacity," he didn't. "I get irritated when people ask, 'Does he have a ghostwriter?' because it's the opposite of that," Klayman told me. "Not only does he not have a ghostwriter, he's on an entirely different plane from most writers editors work with." Klayman said that Obama's writing process was similar to that of many authors: He'd write a draft of a chapter - oftentimes working at his computer late at night - and then send it to her and a group of other people (although in Obama's case these people weren't just friends but mainly political and policy advisors) for suggested edits.

Seriously though, I dislike when people say "Oh well he's just a whacko!" Well that whacko had the ability to possess a firearm, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Mental illness is not taken seriously in this country and the law put in place to restrict guns from the hands of the mentally ill was not funded at all yyeaarrss ago.
I am also on the side of gun control, no I do not want to take all your guns away but there is a line that needs to be drawn to what you can have.
Ya... the analogy doesn't work as well due to liberals not having quite as much of an organized media output and that generally isn't a #1 source of news for us. At least for me anyway. Fox News however, a main source of conservative news picks up stories from these blogs run by Murdock and practically cites it's self by using another Murdock publication as a "source". So, your echo chamber is a bit more organized and larger sorry.woodchip wrote:Fixed it for ya.Mjolnir wrote:Liberal blogs don't do investigative reporting, they just keep an ear open to George Soros/Media Matters echo chamber.

CNN? Really? Jesus you conservatives really are paranoid and factless, you're naming practically unrelated news organizations instead of calling out an actual infrastructure like I did, let alone a station like CNN who try so hard to stay in the middle they end up not giving proper information, like the equivalence of violent rhetoric of the left and right, where the right is BY FAR more violent in their rhetoric.ThunderBunny wrote: Organized media output?
How's this:
MSNBC, NBC, NPR, CBS, AirAmerica(oops, wait- it's dead?), CNN...etc.
From exceedingly biased to way off the left loony edge. Liberals can take their pick.

As to "hate." Why would Obama be offended by being thought of as being "socialist?" Don't remember the famous Newsweek magazine cover "We Are All Socialists Now?"
