So, we've become the Soviet Union, where they killed people trying to escape oppression. We're just killing the ones trying to get IN, also trying to escape oppression. Why don't Republicans quit trying to keep everyone out with force and instead work with the Dems to reform immigration, which we sorely need. However, since Republicans believe more immigrants become Dem voters, nothing will happen along that front. Plus, I doubt Republicans want to work with all these repressive South American countries to make living conditions improve so these people don't even want to immigrate here in the first place.

I do feel bad for people like Will. To have the core of the party you've felt most aligned with be so thoroughly exposed as bunch buffoonish fascists and boot lickers has to be disheartening. I personally feel it has to be affirmatively and directly opposed, but I'll accept apathetic non-support.

Just ten percent, they'd have all the money in the world to take care of the immigrants that come through the border.
