Ok maybe today's NFS4
wallpaper change will incite someone to download the
original non-blurred 1024x768 BMP, it's a lot cooler than previous NFS4 desktops...

my desktop changes a lot depending on my mood, generally it's just an image of any size centered on the desktop. once i just had this little drawing of a heart.
this one is a splash image from my favourite comic dealing with serious (seriously interesting!) mental problems:
Kagerou.
it's Kid in the arms of Dark, i just have it centered on my desktop.
they are both split personalitys (you know, multiple personality disorder), so they are kindof twin brothers. they are differing ages because... well it's complex psychosematic stuff.
kid is very childlike, and dark is basically ★■◆●ing crazy, he's gone insane from the torment he's endured, he's the protector personality so he takes all the crap right on the chin. yes his mouth is sewn (and healed) shut (he did it himself for an interesting reason).
you can download this image from
here.

Nah, I live in Northam, which is about an hours drive away but we make regular trips to Perth and it was on one of those that I snapped the photo. Apart from having part of the railing visible in the bottom of the shot (which I can easily crop out if I could be bothered) I'm quite pleased with how the shot turned out.
