go to your ISP, and shoot them for using transparent caching.

If you search on a high frequency word I beleive nearly any phpbb search will return the blank screen.
Do you remember what word you boink'd it on?

Refresh the window and it'll work.
KB: I've used high frequency searches before on the host we were originally on (before you moved it to our oh so favorite host....which again was prior to moving to this one) and it worked fine.

Must be related to the increasing slowness over time until you hit the \"white screen of death\". That started to happen to me (again) yesterday w/ \"View posts since last visit\" and for editing large posts. Needs another table cleanup I guess ..

yeah, \"View posts since last visit\" doesn't work any more for me either. It used to work, but very slow. Now not at all.

I see there's a new patch for phpbb, from what I can tell there's considerable work in the search routines.
Tomorrow I have several wisdom teeth extracted, assuming I live through it I will attempt to install that upgrade.

Good luck with that. Just remember to stock up on pudding, yogurt, and soup.
