Has anyone seen this error while trying to run the demo setup v 1.2?

An internal read error has occurred on C:\\DOCUME~1\\N1838\\LOCALS~1\\Temp\\WZS2.tmp\\SETUP.INS. Unable to load instalation instructions.

Error 703.

I've loaded the demo on one other system but wanted to try it on my main computer and got this error. I just ordered the full version of Descent 3 and hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Delete the files in that folder and run the setup again. Don't worry, the full product won't have this problem.

And it's well worth the $4.99 you paid for it.

Thanks for the reply. It didn't help though. I even unzipped the exe file into a seperate directory and executed the setup from there with the same results. I'll just wait until I get my regular version and install it on my main computer. I used to play the original Descent when it came out and just now stumbled on the fact that D3 had been out for some time and I never knew it. Looking forward to getting back into the game.

Never mind the last post. As soon as I hit submit, my system came back with the install screen and I finished the install.

Enjoy. You won't find anyone to play with for multi in the demo though. Once you get your final version, goto www.planetdescent.com and d/l the 1.4 patch and some levels.
