Carnage

since my computer is a POS, the only game i can run since my nice computer got stolen in college is descent 1. i can run d1x 1.43 fairly fine, but all i can play is single player levels now since they keep me awake.
theres this one level in paticular that i've played a long time ago called \"Carnage\". which was a huge level with a boss at the end.
i need a little help finding that level again since it was so fun to play. i sooo wanna play it again.
if not i want to know of more single player levels for descent 1 with a boss robots in them, since i love fighting them.

Only Carnage I know is for Descent 2.
I'm sure others will know.

carnage isnt there, and none of them tell you if they have bosses or not.
plus i cant run d2x very well haha... lame

You can use DLE-XP to find out whether a mission has a boss (see the objects list in the object tool).

What OS are you using?
D2X-XL is GREAT with XP!
You can play D1 and D2 with it.
If you want a mission with a mean boss?
Then you should get D2 working with D2X-XL.

Carnage was another Interplay contest level from 1997. You may be able to get it from this page on the Wayback Machine:

tried em all. so so... im still not feelin the challange. also, most of these levels make me feel like im not in a mine shaft. i liked that feeling with the origianl descent SP levels, as well as the vertigo levels.
and again d2x barely runs on this shitty computer. it's hilarious.
