Any Psych majors in here?

I've recently graduated and thinking about going back taking some levelling courses, and applying to a MA/PhD program and Clinical Psychology.

So I'm curious what most of you want to do with your degrees, and if anyone's made it to the PhD/MA level any advice you might lend would be appreciated.

Hey Big,

Saw the post was as of yet unanswered, so here's a reply.

I, too, am working on my Junior year in a Psychology program at my college, and I plan to go for my MS in Clinical/Community Psychology and eventually use my MS degree to teach various Psychology classes at a community college (somewhere).

I always wanted to teach, and psychology is great, so that's what I'm doing.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do. :D

I'm a PhD in Psychology. I am now working in Cognitive Neuroscience doing research. I am very happy with this. Never did anything else though, so I won't be able to tell you much about clinical stuff.

With regard to the PhD i found it essential to find a supervisor you are REALLY happy with (if you have the choice) and an interesting project that is well defined. It is LOTS of work and quite stressful to do a PhD, you cannot compare it to BA or MA at all.
