Anyone having problems with the cookie?

Most of the time when I re-open my browser to the descentbb I have to login again. The cookie should still be there so I should not have to log in. I don't know if it is my browser's fault or the BDD though. All I know is that other sites will keep me logged in just fine. I have tried deleting the DBB cookie and logging in but still the same issue.
Anyone else have this issue? It's just a small anoyance.

Works fine for me. Try deleting your cache as well.

Hey merlin, what browser do you use? Maybe it's a firefox thing.

My bookmark points directly to:
index.php
I will try pointing it to only:
http://www.descentbb.net/ and see if it makes a difference.

Both work. It doesn't matter if I use
www.descentbb.net or descentbb.net. Same problem with both.

I delete my cache on a regular basis in firefox and still I can't login at all. I tried all the advice offered when others were having the same problem at the time the dbb was making some changes, but still had the problem.
My only solution has been to use IE JUST for dbb.net *cringe*

Yeah, I can login but I ALWAYS have to login. Once I leave the site I have to login again, SO ANOYING. They don't seem to care about fixing it though. It's been a few months already and no fix.

I use FF 1.5.0.4 and IE 7 Beta2.
Both remember my logins.

I'm running Firefox 1.5.0.4 and only have to log in about once a month when the board glitches.
What it sounds like, is that you have the cookies set to \"session only\". Try the following:
in Firefox, click : Tools/Options/Privacy/Cookies
I have checked \"Allow sites to set cookies\", \"For the originating web site only\" and \"Ask me every time\". Thats the setting I recommend, but you at least MUST have \"Allow sites to set cookies\", and you must NOT be using \"UNTIL I CLOSE FIREFOX\", if you don't want to have to log in every single time.
Now click EXCEPTIONS
Scroll down to \"
www.descentbb.net\", it should say \"ALLOW\", if it says \"BLOCK\" or \"ALLOW FOR SESSION\" then you need to click on \"
www.descentbb.net\" and then click the \"REMOVE SITE\" button. then CLOSE.
Now go back to
www.descentbb.net, and log in. A window will pop up asking if it should accept the cookie. check the \"USE MY CHOICE FOR ALL COOKIES FROM THIS SITE\" box, and click the ALLOW button.
And that should take care of the problem.

Also, thanks for the info Kilarin. But it has little to do with the problem. Browser settings are not an issue, it is an issue with this site and this site only for me.
If you look at the cookies that descentbb.net sets (there are three for me), two are set to expire at the end of the session and the third is set to expire on the same day it was set (at the moment \"Tuesday 10th\"). I don't see any that are set to never expire which should be the case to allow for me to be logged in every time I visit.
EDIT: I take that back about the one set to the same day. It is not, it is set to the same day A YEAR in the future. So it should be working. Other forums I visit keep me logged in and have the cookie set to a year in the future just like this one. Strange.

It is not a problem with the cookie, it is a problem with the SQL database, the server fails to properly call up your login from the cookie and as a result you get logged out the instant you click the page.
