Does anyone have Ten Thousand Fists by Disturbed. I have two of their other albums, and I want to know if this one is good, bad, or super good.

i've got it but i still can't say whether i like or not and i've listened to it maybe a hundred times. it's got its moments but otherwise i kinda liken it to a weak f/u to the 2nd album. the 1st is the best, imo.

Never even heard of them. Can you give us a little discription of them? Maybe a sample clip that we might like?

Uh. Well, Disturbed are probably one of the more popular heavy metal acts at present... they aren't extraordinarily well-known but they are up there.

Probably fairly easy to look them up.

Disturbed is garbage man.
All their music sounds the same, and it all sounds like ass.

Forget Ten Thousand Fists, get Ten Thousand Days, the Tool album.

I agree on the part alot of their songs sound alike, but they all sound good.

I think I will get international superhits by Green Day first, then get Ten Thousand Fists. I have made up my mind! Yay!

I wouldn't call Disturbed heavy metal.

Dakatsu, you should check out some Bad Brains. They are the real deal. Try something classic like the album known as i against i

TTF is definitely different from their other albums (for one, NO cussing). They really lost their drum-laden playing and ditched it for some (what i'd call lighter, maybe mainstream would be a better term) fare. \"Alive\" is probably my favorite \"pump you up\" song that I've ever heard, though. They have a few more guitar solos in their songs than what I notice in their other albums, though. I've really taken a liking to Avenged Sevenfold, though, but I prefer their \"Waking the Fallen\" CD to the drivel that's in their new CD, City of Evil. \"I Won't See You Tonight Part 1 and 2\" are a VERY tight set that I would *LOVE* to hear played live. Part one goes from kind of a lighter metal sadness about drinking away the pain, to part 2 where it gets dark and heavy, and I feel you could see the person singing/playing the instruments as going from crying at the end of the first song to tears of rage in the 2nd.

I'd be interested in checking out Blue October and HIM, anyone know much about their new CDs (I like both light and heavy metal, it really depends on the instrumentalization and vocalization, Shinedown's was one of my favorites (until their crap mainstream 2nd album.))
