Task Manager help

Long time, no post, I know...
I just got a new 'puter running XP Media Center 2005.
I have a strange problem with the Task Manager. When mashing the CTL+ALT+DEL keys the ONLY thing that comes up after pressing the Task Manager button is a \"stripped\" down version that has the Application window only. I have no tabs across the top for Processes, Performance, Networking. File, Options, View etc are all missing as well.
Any thoughts on this? I have done some more looking around from here at work and have found some references to enabling snap-ins that I think might work to get the full functionality of Task Manager back, but I have found nothing definitive.
Suggestions are appreciated!
