I have beaten D3 reti. on insane with no death.

15 levels + 2 secrets, no cheating, no loading saved game if i died always back to level 1, no cheap tactics (exept for secret2 and against Helion), I did not use cloacking or invulnerable powerups, killed allmost all the bots (Im sure I can kill them all ) and used only legal ships (Not like....pheenix aginst Homunuculus...etc)

Nice Demo. It wasn't on insane though. From the behaviour of the bots and the speed of the incoming shots, I would say it was on rookie. Maybe hotshot.

It was on insane, check when i pick up shields, my shield value goes up with 6.

Edit: Don't look at the top of my hud, check my shields writen in blue.
I don't know why it runs slow, it does that on my system as well. Notice my ship speed, im in a pyro and im constant trichord and AB, but still it looks slow. Also notice how many hits the thief takes before he goes down.
Rookie? I would use 2 sec. to cream that suxer on rookie.
And in this demo I whent easy on him

Edit2: LOL! I know whats wrong, your difficult level must be set to insane when you playback the demo, I just tried it.

This is how I beat Homuncules on insane. Tok me some time, though, cus I haden't quadlaser or much weapon.

85 fps, make sure your pilotprofile is at insane to view it propperly.

Interesting, sticking it on insane makes the demo play on insane. I wonder if that was a bug they never fixed?

I have a question about the thief one. How come you don't shoot much, and why do you only use super lasers and no secondaries? Seems kind of a boring way to play the game. You must have had other weapons unless you just used the cheat codes to get to him.

Yeah, the demo is kinda boring. Where are all your other weapons? You should have had most of them by then.

I don't think it's boring to use only primary fire, the fights last longer and it demand more from me, so my skill level will increase faster.
Another reason is that when Im on a retributiontour on insane, I will not use my secondarys if I really don't need to. This way I'll save them for a situation when they are more needed.
And by the way, I think fire and forget weapon is cheap, I wanted to be ME that beat it on insane not my fire and forget weapons.
But in this demo I don't shoot much either, and that is because I wanna study my own flystyle from a 3rd person view. Press the key 'R' when you play the demo, and you will switch between the bots and get their view. Press 'P' and your back to your pilot again.

I think the beauty of D3 is the movements, how you maneuvre your ship, trichording. That's what distinguish this game from the regular ground pounder games. The dance

childs play. I did it on insane and RAMMED all the bots to death .. one death myself. I r00l.

I'm not a kid. 1985, I'm 21. I have really tried to best them on ACE then INSANE.
