what are your thoughts on this? There is no way this can be good for our economy or safty?

2 things:
1. Can't you guys drop the whole Manifest Destiny thing already? We already beat you once about it (in 1812).
2. I'm surprised Paul Martin (our previous Prime Minister) agreed to this, as throughout the last election, he criticized our current PM, Stephen Harper, as being Bush's lapdog.

Lou Dobbs in a nutshell. He's trying too hard to be a lite O'Reily with some edumacation in what's he's talking about.
I was watching him a few days ago in a round table talking about the US's response to NK's missle test. It just went in circles, basically reiterating that he doesn't like modern US Foregin Policy.
