Power supply voltages

I am running a ASUS P4P 800E MoBo, pentium 4 2.8g cpu
I have a 470 watt PS.
Voltages for the +12 volt fluctuate from a low of 11.343 to 11.6** seems predominate around 11.673
+5 volt steady at 4.945 to 4.999
+3.3 3.376 pretty steady
v-core 1.36 to 1.44

Are these voltages ok?

I am having video issues... like if I scroll down a topic here at the DBB, the colors for lack of a better term... \"smear\" down the screen, lots of random pixals salt my screen. Hiend games are unplayable. Lowend graphics are \"dirty\".

All ready updated the drivers, reinstalled Directx. this even happens on my desktop when dragging windows accros the screen. I am suspecting the Video card. an nvidia FX 5900 Ultra...
I already took the case down, reseated the cards, blew it out, ect.

It made perfect sence at the time - to me - But my idea of perfect sence sometime differs from most of the planet :roll:

Looks like the V-Card broke. :( I had that once w/ a 5900 at Klays (memory had a cooling problem.) What are the core/ambient temps of the card ? What's the brand of the card ? (if it's BFG, go for RMA) What's your PSU make/model ? (values look ok tho) It may be a cooling problem, but I doubt it's reversable. Usually reseating the V-Card heatsinks is not a good idea since the memory sinks most likely use thermal pads that get messed up in the process. You could try an aftermarket solution like this or this one. (only if you don't have warranty on the card tho. Plus the probability of success is pretty low..)

Make sure the card and the cards 12V connectors are seated ok.

That 12v reading is low, but should still be within a workable range with the margin of error on the sensors, though it will make the GPU power supply have to work a bit more. Since you already dusted it, the odds of something still causing contact on the memory chips is pretty low, and if you can't even get access to the memory chips then its almost impossible. It may simply be the RAM is burning out, try underclocking the video ram and see if it has any impact. You can RMA the card, but it may also be worthwhile to get a new PSU. The 3.3v and 5v rails are fine, but the main load that the video card is going to depend on is the 12v rail, so the PSU could be the cause. Odds are they are unrelated but better out $50 for a decent PSU then $300 for a decent video card.

When my 9700 died, it did exactly the same thing. Does it also do it in the BIOS or when windows is booting up? If yes, time to go shopping most likely.

I have not noticed it during boot and have not been in the bios. I did some research on power supplies... seems mine is putting out pretty close to the right levels.
