Laptop woes talking to LCD projector
Posted: Sun Jul 16, 2006 3:05 pm
Specs:
One brand new Laptop of unknown specs
Exceptions are that it has ATI Vid and runs XP. (Home or Pro, again unknown)
One brand new Optima LCD projector
Vid interface is standard 15 pin cable from laptop to LCD.
Issue:
My church has *just* recently gone from Overhead and transperacy to laptop and projector for displaying our collection of songs. My dad fought with it for an hour today so that the software, Easy Worship, would send the songs to the LCD, while allowing the user to use the program on the laptop's screen. He told me that he had to \"dig deep\" (into the ATI settings) to get the laptop to do what we wanted it to do.
Question:
Is there a way on this laptop to setup a Scheme, marcro or something that will automaticly setup the settings every time we use it without fighting with it every Sunday?
